Job summary

Fulton Hogan offers a two-year Civil Engineering Graduate Programme based in Marlborough, starting February 2027, with hands-on site experience and real responsibility on infrastructure projects across three waters, roads, bridges, and more.

You will rotate through different parts of the business, support delivery with planning and day-to-day site activities, and uphold safety and wellbeing as a priority while building a long-term career in infrastructure.

Qualifications

• New Zealand-recognised Civil Engineering degree or diploma, graduated 2024–2026.
• Citizen or permanent resident of NZ or Australia; NZ permanent residency also accepted.
• Willingness to learn and hands-on, site-based contracting work.

Grad mode: on. Start your civil engineering career with Fulton Hogan in February 2027. Our two-year Civil Engineering Graduate Programme gives you hands‑on experience, real responsibility and the chance to work on infrastructure that keeps communities moving.

In Marlborough, you'll get involved early in work across three waters, road construction, bridges, quarries, surfacing and traffic management. That variety gives you a great base to build broad, practical experience, backed by experienced people who know the region and the work inside out.

• A Civil Engineering degree or diploma from a New Zealand‑recognised tertiary institute, with graduation between 2024 and 2026.
• New Zealand or Australian citizenship, or New Zealand permanent residency.
• A genuine interest in practical, hands‑on, site‑based contracting work.
• A proactive, organised and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn.
• A team‑focused attitude and a strong interest in a long‑term career in infrastructure.
