Job summary

Alexander Knight Recruitment is recruiting an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer for Queenstown or Wanaka. You will deliver civil engineering solutions across land development and infrastructure projects, using 12D or Civil 3D, from concept through to delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years NZ experience, and knowledge of NZ standards and council processes. Salary ranges NZ$100,000–NZ$150,000 with strong career growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification (Degree level).
• 3+ years’ NZ civil engineering experience.
• Experience in land development and/or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NZ standards, council requirements and design processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Consultancy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Undertaking earthworks, roading and three-waters design.
• Supporting feasibility, planning and project delivery phases.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with NZ engineering standards and council requirements.
