Mainstream is a nationwide Transport and Logistics company based in New Zealand. We seek an experienced PM Loader / Class 5 Driver for our Christchurch Branch.

This permanent, full-time role reports to the Christchurch PM Operations Manager and offers a remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Ideal candidates will hold a current Forklift Operator Certificate, a clean Class 5 license, DG endorsement, and a minimum of two years’ class 5 driving experience within NZ or

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Clean and valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of class 5 driving in NZ domestic or international comparison.
• Good driving skills with a truck and trailer unit.
• Strong, reliable work ethics; able to work unsupervised.
• Good command of English.
• Relates well to others.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced PM Loader / Class 5 Driver, based at our Christchurch Branch. This role is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Christchurch PM Operations Manager.

We are after a person with the following skills, experience and certifications:

Must have:

• Current Forklift Operator Certificate
• Clean and valid Class 5 driver's License
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of class 5 driving in New Zealand domestic transport industry or international comparison
• Good driving skills, able to drive and back a truck and trailer unit with confidence
• Strong, reliable and safe work ethics
• Able to work unsupervised
• Good command of the English language
• Relates well to others

Desirable:

• Current DG Handling for Road Transport Certificate
• Basic knowledge of the geographic layout
• First Aid certificate
