Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
• A relevant cookery qualification or certificate is preferable but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, a hard-working, reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize food preparation and cooking.
• Oversee kitchen operations and monitor quality of dishes.
• Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes.
• Take stock of ingredients and equipment and place orders to replenish supplies.
• Enforce food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and train kitchen staff as required.
