Job summary

ATLAS CHEFS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP is seeking skilled chefs for positions across resorts, hotels and pubs in New Zealand and Australia. Roles include Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and solo chef with 4+ week contracts and ongoing opportunities.

Flexible shifts, travel between islands, and in-house meals are offered. Candidates should be trade-qualified with 3–5 years’ experience, strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified chef with 3–5 years' experience.
• Experience in quality a la carte dining or bulk cooking.
• Own traditional uniform and knives.
• Ability to work within a team of 10+.
• Flexible with shifts, including weekends.
• Capable of menu planning and offering suggestions.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Adaptable to resort, hotel and pub kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Cook for lunch and dinner services in fine dining / upmarket resorts.
• Support head/sous chefs and chef de parties.
• Deliver consistent quality across 4+ week contracts.
• Assist with menu planning and daily prep.
• Collaborate with hotels, pubs and resorts for varied menus.

Do you measure up?

Are you a trade qualified Chef with at least 3-5 years experience, plus:

• Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
• Can produce consistent quality
• Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Own traditional uniform and knives
• Have experience in quality a la carte dining or bulk cooking
• Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
• Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
• Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to motivate not only yourself but a team as well.
