Job summary

Atlas Chefs are seeking a qualified chef for a busy hotel kitchen in Auckland, New Zealand, to support lunch and dinner service for 150-200 covers.

You will join a small team, take on extra responsibilities to broaden your repertoire, and enjoy benefits including transport to and from the workplace, fully paid accommodation, meals on shift, and ongoing career progression through Atlas Chefs.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with 3+ years of kitchen experience.
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to produce consistent quality.

• Own traditional uniform and knives.
• Keen eye with high attention to detail.
• Interested in menu planning and suggestions.

A venue in a beautiful, location needs an enthusiastic Chef to assist in their established kitchen and strive to create quality country food.

About the role

• Working within a small team providing quality food for lunch and dinner services of around 150-200 covers.
• The opportunity to take on extra responsibilities to further your repertoire and experience in the kitchen.

You’ll work alongside a team of 3-4. This Venue is a busy Hotel, which serves bistro style food plus full menu.

About you

If you are trade qualified with three or more years’ experience, and:

• Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
• Can produce consistent quality
• Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Own traditional uniform and knives
• Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
• Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
