Job summary

ATLAS CHEFS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP in Wellington, North Island, is seeking trade-qualified chefs for short-term contracts across hotels, pubs and resorts. Roles include Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and Senior Chef, with 4–8 week assignments starting as soon as possible.

Join a dynamic team and enjoy lunch and dinner service, with hourly pay for every hour worked and potential ongoing work with leading clients.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified chef with 3–5 years experience in kitchens.
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Own uniform and knives required.
• Experience in quality a la carte dining or bulk cooking.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to motivate a team.
• Willingness to assist with menu planning and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of 3–6 in hotels/pubs/resorts.
• Prepare lunch and dinner services.
• 4–8 week contracts with potential ongoing work.
• Roles include Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and Senior Chef.
• Contract work year-round opportunities with clients.

Do you measure up?

Are you a trade qualified Chefwith at least 3-5 years experience, plus:

• Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
• Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Own traditional uniform and knives
• Have experience in quality a la carte dining or bulk cooking
• Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
• Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
• Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to motivate not only yourself but a team as well.
