Job summary

Cater Plus Services NZ Ltd, a leading NZ catering provider, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee Elizabeth Knox Kitchen in Epsom, Auckland. You will lead a large kitchen team, maintain exceptional food quality, and build strong client relationships to ensure high resident satisfaction.

You will plan menus to suit varied dietary needs, manage food safety, budgets, stock, and provide hands-on leadership in a busy on-site kitchen serving up to 260 residents daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Chef Manager, Head Chef or Site Manager role.
• Proven leadership of large kitchen teams in a healthcare or aged-care setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a large kitchen team.
• Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Planning and developing menus for varied dietary and nutritional requirements.
• Overseeing the preparation, cooking and service of meals.
• Monitoring food quality and presentation through all production stages.
• Ensuring compliance with NZ food safety standards and health and safety requirements.
• Managing food and labour costs within budget.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining stock control.
