We currently have fixed term (seasonal) and permanent chef roles available, part-time and full-time. Experience is preferred but if you are excited about starting in our industry then we would still like to hear from you! The Jellyfish is an established, busy and vibrant restaurant and bar, located 30 mins from Nelson, on the beautiful Mapua Wharf. We are renowned for our amazing location, within which we pride ourselves on creating memorable guest experiences.

We are currently hiring motivated and energetic chefs to join our kitchen team.

This role will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to benefit from multiple income streams. Your competitive hourly rate will also be complemented by monthly performance-based incentives, meaning you can have a direct impact on what you earn. Our team also enjoys the added bonus of guest gratuities.

We require the successful candidate to possess the following attributes:

• Dedication to and focus on providing exceptional guests experience by always striving to exceed expectations.
• The willingness to respect, manage, maintain and improve the recognised operating systems of the business.
• Minimum 1 Years experience as a chef.

Full time position with set roster and a great work/life balance. Start within the next 2-6 weeks.

Training and familiarisation of systems will be provided as part of your onboarding and process.
