Job summary

Arvida is seeking a Cook to thrive in a high-end cafe environment at Bethlehem Shores. You will cook breakfast and lunch, bake and prep cabinet foods, and ensure excellent guest experiences in our community cafe.

Join a resident-focused team with a Food Control Plan, strong safety standards, and ongoing training. This role offers full-time hours across a 5-day week with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe minimum of 2 years
• Exceptional cooking and baking skills
• Excellent food hygiene practices and a commitment to safe working practices
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management

Duties are varied, active, and stimulating with lots of personal interaction and maintain compliance with our Food Control Plan.You will thrive in a beautiful high end cafe environment, and enjoy enriching the lives of our residents. You'll also be responsible for:

• Ensuring all customers have a great experience
• Cooking to order breakfast and lunch
• Baking, prepping and serving cabinet food
• Ordering supplies as required
• Set up and pack down each shift
• Maintaining our cafe cleaning, safety, and hygiene standards

Additional Information

• Full time 5days per week - Thurday 1000 - 1500 and Friday to Monday , 0630–1500
