About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to lead the operations of this thriving community facility and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational, financial and program performance of the Centre, while fostering strong connections with the local community and leading a high-performing team. A key focus of the role is building a positive workplace culture, driving team engagement and upholding the values of Belgravia Leisure.

We are seeking a professional and dynamic leader who brings energy, vision and proven management experience, ideally within the leisure, aquatic, fitness, recreation or facility management sectors. Through effective leadership and staff development, you will empower your team to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain the highest standards of aquatic safety and achieve the Centre's operational and contractual objectives. About You

Possessing strong communication skills, you are able to build rapport and positive relationships with people. Ideally, you will have experience in managing a team, working on and in the business, and a willingness to be the face of the facility.

With a flair and ability to positive influence and negotiate win-win outcomes, you lead by example. You are tech savvy and have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation. You possess values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect leadership and accountability.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience of plant room management and pool operations orability to obtain
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.

Desirable or Willing to Obtain

• Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• National Police Check & Working with Children Check
• Current CPR Certificate & First Aid Certificate
