Job summary

Kids Count Lenore Rd in Favona, Auckland, is seeking an experienced centre manager to lead the Lenore Road centre, full-time. You will oversee teaching standards, compliance with ECE regulations, budgeting, staffing and rostering, while building strong relationships with families.

The role requires a Diploma in ECE with current registration or willingness to obtain it, plus at least 5 years in ECE and 3+ in management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE with current registration or willingness to obtain it.
• 5+ years in ECE, including 3+ in management.
• Solid knowledge of Te Whāriki and best practice in early childhood.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team and centre staff.
• Ensure teaching programme remains grounded in Te Whāriki.
• Manage budget, staffing and rostering.
• Maintain compliance with ECE regulations and MOE requirements.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
