Job summary

Frame Retail in Auckland is seeking an experienced Retail & Operations Manager to lead our store network. You will develop Store Managers, drive performance, and ensure a personalised customer experience across nine stores nationwide with regular travel.

This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic collaboration at Head Office, partnering with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to grow foot traffic and seasonal rollouts while maintaining consistent standards and strong communication

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Store Managers, helping them lead, train and motivate their teams with confidence.
• Set monthly sales budgets and partner with stores on plans to achieve them, reviewing performance and sharing wins across the network.
• Champion a genuine, personalised customer experience, spending time in-store to observe, coach and provide practical feedback.
• Represent the retail network and voice of the customer at the weekly Trade Meeting, feeding insights back to Buying, Planning and Design.
• Partner with Marketing and Visual Merchandising on initiatives that drive foot traffic and successful seasonal rollouts.
• Maintain consistent standards across store presentation and operations, keeping communication flowing between Head Office and stores.

Our client is a well-established and much-loved New Zealand fashion retailer, with a network of nine stores across the country and a genuinely loyal customer following. Known for a warm, community-driven culture both in-store and behind the scenes, they are now seeking an experienced Retail & Operations Manager to lead their store network into its next chapter.

About the role

At the heart of this role is people. You will develop confident, capable Store Managers who lead great teams, achieve their store goals and deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience. It is a collaborative, hands-on position, working closely with Store Managers and the wider Head Office team to identify opportunities, solve challenges and ensure every store feels connected and supported.
