Job summary

Casual Team Member – Recreation Assistant (Holiday Programmes) at East Coast Bays Leisure Centre is a frontline role delivering school holiday programmes for tamariki aged 5–13, helping maintain a welcoming, safe and energetic fitness and leisure environment.

You will support a variety of activities, be available during school holidays, and bring energy, confidence with children, and a calm, friendly approach that enhances the experience for every participant. First Aid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Frontline role delivering school holiday programmes for tamariki aged 5–13.
• Must be available to work during school holidays.
• Passionate about sports, recreation and working with children.
• Calm, friendly approach with strong communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of holiday programme activities for children aged 5–13.
• Help create a welcoming, fun and safe environment across the centre.
• Support centre activities such as sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmes.
