Job summary

sKids New Zealand is a flexible, customer‑facing role. We’re seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to support Tamariki in the afternoons, mainly 2.30pm–6.00pm, with potential hours during school holidays.

You’ll supervise activities, keep spaces tidy, and assist the Programme Manager to run energetic sessions while monitoring behaviour, wellbeing, and safety. This reliever role offers no weekend work and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work in New Zealand (visa or citizenship)
• Access/Ohope site with reliable transport
• Experience with kids welcome (babysitting, coaching, volunteering)
• Reliable, energetic, keen to make each session special

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Tamariki in fun, safe activities
• Keep spaces tidy, clean, welcoming for children
• Help Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
• Spot hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and report to manager
