Skids is seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to create memorable mornings and afternoons for children, with a focus on afternoon/after-school shifts from 2.30pm to 6.00pm. The role is rostered on an as-needed basis, offering flexible hours and a meaningful impact on kids’ days.

You will supervise and support tamariki, keep spaces tidy, and help your Programme Manager run energetic sessions while addressing any wellbeing or safety concerns.

Formación

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship).
• Have reliable transportation and/or a vehicle.
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts.
• Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special.

Job Description

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.

• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.
