Job summary

Qube Ports NZ is seeking casual stevedores for the Port of Auckland to support loading, unloading and movement of cargo in a busy port environment. Shifts are offered as required, with 8–12 hour blocks across a 24/7 operation.

Applicants must hold a full Class 1 driver license, be physically fit, and ready to pass medical/drug checks to work in New Zealand. You will join a safety-focused team, complete documentation, lash and secure cargo, and operate port equipment where qualified.

Qualifications

• Must have full class 1 driver license.
• Pass pre-employment medical and drug test; ACC & MOJ check.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
• Flexible for 24/7 operation and shifts up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles off of RO-RO ships.
• Load and unload cargo vessels.
• Handle, tally, and store cargo.
• Operate port equipment (where qualified).
• Complete cargo and delivery documentation.
• Lash and secure cargo.
• Support safe and efficient port operations.
