Job summary

C3 is seeking entry level staff to help stow and secure containers on board vessels at the Port of Tauranga. The role involves manual labour, working on wharves and vessels, and requires flexibility to cover a 24/7 shift pattern.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, team players with good communication and a positive attitude. A Full Class 1 licence is preferred, and you must be legally allowed to work in NZ with a valid visa or citizenship.

Qualifications

• Able to perform manual labour and work on wharves and vessels.
• Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to Health & Safety rules.
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
• Legally entitled to work in NZ with valid visa, residency or citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately stow container cargo on board vessels at the container terminal.
• Assist with loading and securing containers by lashing and unlashing on vessel decks.
• Work outdoors in all weather and at heights as required.
• Maintain safe work practices and communicate effectively with the team.
