Job summary

Christchurch City Mission (Te Whare Mīhana Ki Ōtautahi) seeks Accommodation Services Workers for casual roles in the Men's Night Shelter in Christchurch. Shifts include AM (12.15am-8.30am) and PM (4.30pm-12.30am), delivering practical support, coping strategies and medication management to residents.

Work with a residential team and clinical staff to provide 24/7 care in a values-driven, Christian environment. Applicants should have experience with homelessness and strong communication skills.

About the Role

These are casual positions for the following shifts in the Men's Night Shelter: AM Shift (12.15am-8.30am) , PM Shift (4.30-12.30pm). You'll be part of a supportive, integrated residential team providing practical support, coping strategies, and medication management for residents in our accommodation services. Our trained Support Workers work closely with clinical staff to deliver 24/7 care that meets the individual needs of women.
