Qube Ports NZ is seeking experienced Log Handling Operators to support Wellington Port operations on a casual, as-required basis. Must have proven experience on wheel loaders and/or material handlers with strong log handling background.

Location is Wellington Port with 12-hour shift work. Casual position, training provided and safety-focused team culture. All PPE gear is provided and ongoing professional development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers.
• Strong background in log handling.
• Willingness to train across multiple machines.
• Positive, safety-focused attitude.
• Restricted NZ Driver’s Licence minimum.
• Ability to work 12 hour shift work.

Responsabilités

• Operate wheel loaders, material handlers and terminal tractors at the Wellington port.
• Safely arrange, transfer, and load logs within the yard and loading out to ship.
• Communicate clearly with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
