Job summary

Qube Ports NZ in New Plymouth is seeking a Shift Manager to lead loading and unloading operations at the port, directing a skilled team across logs, timber, bulk products and more. About the Role:

The primary responsibility of the Shift Manager is to manage and drive the loading and unloading of ships arriving at the port. This is a demanding but rewarding leadership role and pivotal to our organisation. It will involve leading a dedicated team of skilled individuals in the handling of everything from logs, timber, bulk products and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your team and for managing cargo flow through the effective use of our unique cargo management systems.

Location: Taranaki Port

Status: This is a full-time salaried role. Rosters are driven by shipping schedules, and flexibility is required, including rotating between morning and evening shifts to meet business demands.
