Job summary

Ballance Agri-Nutrients in Hawke's Bay is seeking a casual Aircraft Loader Driver to support our regional operations. You will work alongside pilots, loading fertiliser and related products, while maintaining loader equipment and assisting with refuelling as needed.

The role requires flexibility for early starts and seasonal workloads, with emphasis on safety, reliability and a practical mechanical aptitude. Opportunities exist to grow within a leading farmer-owned co-operative.

Qualifications

• An Approved Handlers Certificate and Dangerous Goods license will be beneficial.
• Be physically fit and injury free.
• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Be able to troubleshoot issues, be proactive and ensure continuous operation.

Responsibilities

• Load aircraft with fertiliser, lime or other products.
• Relocate and perform daily maintenance of loaders.
• Refuel trucks and aircraft.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a casual Super Air Loader Driver, you'll be working alongside our pilots - seeing the best of your region from the seat of a loader truck and at times in an aircraft moving between jobs. If you like the outdoors and variety in terms of where you work then this is for you.

• Loading aircraft with fertiliser, lime or other products
• Relocation and daily maintenance of loaders
• Refuelling of trucks and aircraft

Flexibility is a must due to weather and seasonal demands and you must be willing to start in the early hours of the morning. In return you will be paid a retainer plus additional hourly rates and be given the opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment and highly competitive industry.
