Job summary

Ravensdown Feilding Store is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable candidate for a casual role to help keep customers happy and operations running smoothly and safely. The role covers blending bulk fertiliser, basic yard tasks, and using our stock management system; training is provided for forklift/front-end loader if required.

Qualifications

• Strong Health & Safety focus with a safety-first attitude.
• Customer service experience and be an excellent 'people person'.
• Competent using a computer or be capable of picking up Ravensdown's ordering and stock management system.
• Experience in forklift / front-end loader operation desired but not essential.
• Reasonable physical fitness and be comfortable working in the yard.
• The ability to work as a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and support store operations during trading hours.
• Operate basic yard tasks and support loading/unloading where required.
• Use Ravensdown stock management system to process orders and stock movements.
• Gain training for forklift/front-end loader operation if needed.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment.
• Work flexible hours including Saturdays and peak periods as needed.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the team at our Feilding Store to help keep our customers happy and our operations running smoothly and safely. This is a casual role that requires flexibility and availability during store trading hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm. Working hours will vary based on seasonal demand, so the successful candidate will need to be adaptable and available to work additional hours during peak periods. From blending bulk fertiliser and operating heavy machinery to processing computerised orders and selling to customers. Your mix of practical skills, personality and professionalism means that nothing will be a problem.

About You

Your previous experience in a customer-focussed role along with general store/yard work will make you an ideal candidate. Being able to operate a front-end loader and forklift would be a nice to have however, we can provide the necessary training to see you succeed. You will be comfortable using a tablet/computer to use our stock management and ordering system.

There are seasonal demands which require flexibility in the hours, including Saturday mornings and some evenings during the peak periods.
