Job summary

The University of Auckland seeks enthusiastic casual staff to support online exams and in-class student support. You'll assist with setting up exams in Inspera, provide technical help to academic staff, and manage user queries with patience and professionalism.

Training during the week of 19–23 October and from 29 October to 16 November will be full-time hours (Mon–Fri 8:30/9am – 4pm/5:30pm). You will need to be confident using online systems and communicating processes clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused role.
• Digitally savvy and confident using technology.
• Keen to learn in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pick up new information promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with setting up exams and assessments in Inspera.
• Providing technical support for professional and academic staff across the University.
• Providing ad hoc user support as needed.
• Tracking exam and assessment set-up in Inspera, stepping in to assist when required.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support.
• Assist with class test, assessment organisation and delivery using Inspera.
• Performing quality checks before exams and assessments go live to students.
• Monitor progress of tests and exams online.
