Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking casual staff to support online exams and in-class student assistance during peak periods in Auckland, NZ. Applicants must be technically minded, able to explain concepts clearly, and maintain meticulous records.

Training runs Oct 19–23, with full-time hours from Oct 29 to Nov 16 (Mon-Fri 8:30/9:00–4:00/5:30). Key duties include exam setup in Inspera, providing technical support to staff and students, and handling inquiries with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with setting up exams and assessments in Inspera.
• Providing technical support for professional and academic staff.
• Providing ad hoc user support as needed.
• Tracking exam and assessment set-up in Inspera.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support.
• Assist with class test, assessment organisation and delivery using Inspera.
• Performing quality checks before exams and assessments go live to students.
• Monitor progress of tests and exams online.
