Job summary

ALH Recruitment in Lower Hutt, North Island, is seeking qualified carpenters for an established indoor building site in Petone. The fully covered, weather-proof site keeps work steady and local, with no travel between sites.

You'll perform general carpentry on modular projects, install framing, flooring, walls and doors, read plans, measure, cut and assemble accurately, while following site H&S and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Recognised NZ carpentry trade qualification (National Certificate/Diploma in Carpentry or equivalent).
• 3+ years' post-qualification experience ideally.
• Own tools of trade.
• Sharp eye for quality and safe, reliable work habits.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

We need qualified carpenters to join an established building site right in Petone, Lower Hutt. Fully under cover, so it's weather-proof, steady, and close to home. No travel between sites, no overnighters away from family, just consistent indoor work with a solid local crew.

About the role:

• General carpentry work on modular building projects.

What you'll need:
