Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking experienced carpenters to join our Rotorua client teams. You will work across residential and commercial projects, delivering quality workmanship from framing to finishing on time.

You should be trade qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ carpentry experience, own tools, a valid licence, and the right to work in New Zealand. Weekly pay and full PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Carpenter with minimum 3 years carpentry experience.
• Proven ability in framing, formwork and finishing.
• Knowledge of NZ building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Hit the ground running and work independently or in crews.
• Deliver quality workmanship on time and to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking qualified and experienced carpenters who can hit the ground running. You’ll be confident working both independently and as part of a crew, delivering quality workmanship on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Carpenter (or extensive experience in the trade)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant carpentry experience
• Proven ability in framing, formwork, and finishing
• Strong understanding of NZ building codes and standards
• Own basic hand tools and power tools
• Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
• Site Safe or ConstructSafe preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand
