Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking a High End Finishing Carpenter to join quality projects across Tauranga. If you’re a qualified carpenter with an eye for detail, precision workmanship and experience delivering premium finishes, we want to hear from you.

Location: Tauranga, Tauranga. Start date: Now and in the future. Pay rate: $35–$42 per hour, depending on experience. PPE supplied and ongoing work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified NZ carpenter with experience in high-end finishes.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
• EWP, Working at Heights (WAH) and Site Safe are advantageous.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• No criminal convictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete high-end finishing carpentry, including detailed trims, mouldings and custom woodwork.
• Fit and hang doors, windows and architectural hardware with precision.
• Install custom cabinetry, shelving and built-in furniture.
• Carry out quality cladding installation and finishing.
• Scribe and fit timber accurately to walls, floors and other surfaces.
• Read and work from architectural plans, elevations and detailed drawings.
• Prepare and finish timber surfaces to a premium standard.
