Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking experienced Carpenters for ongoing commercial construction projects across West Auckland. Immediate start with a focus on quality workmanship and safety, across framing, formwork, finishing, and total carpentry tasks on varied sites.

Join a professional team delivering on-time builds with weekly pay and supportive site management. Own tools and transport preferred; Site Safe and other relevant tickets advantageous.

Qualifications

• NZ Trade Qualified Carpenter or equivalent experience.
• Experience on commercial or residential construction projects.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Own tools and reliable transport.
• Site Safe passport preferred.
• EWP, Working at Heights or other relevant tickets advantageous.
• Reliable, hardworking with focus on quality workmanship.
• Strong focus on health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural and general carpentry on commercial construction projects.
• Complete framing, formwork, fit-out, and finishing work.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install timber and other building materials.
• Assist with concrete formwork and structural works where required.
• Work alongside site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Whether your strength is structural framing, concrete formwork, or finishing work, you'll be involved across a variety of commercial builds from the early stages through to project completion.

About the Role

Working across a range of commercial construction projects throughout West Auckland, you'll carry out all aspects of carpentry while helping deliver quality builds safely and on time.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across different stages of construction in a professional environment.
