Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand in Dunedin is seeking an experienced, NZ trade-qualified Commercial Carpenter for a long-term opportunity in commercial construction. Immediate start.

You will perform commercial framing, formwork, interior fit-outs, and door installations, reading plans, and coordinating with site managers. PPE provided with a strong focus on health and safety on site.

Qualifications

• NZ trade-qualified carpenter required.
• Proven commercial construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Own tools and reliable transport.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Commercial Carpenter

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced, NZ trade-qualified Commercial Carpenter to join a reputable commercial building company in Dunedin. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled carpenter looking to get stuck into quality commercial construction work.

$33-36 per hour, paid weekly

What you'll be doing

• Commercial framing and structural carpentry
• Formwork and concrete-related carpentry
• Interior fit-outs and finishing work
• Installing doors, hardware, fixtures and fittings
• Reading and working from construction plans and specifications
• Measuring, cutting and installing building components
• Coordinating with site managers and other trades
