Summerset Prebbleton is opening a brand-new memory care centre in a picturesque village, seeking a Part Time Weekend Caregiver to join a dedicated team. You will provide personal care and daily living support to residents in a state-of-the-art environment, helping create an enjoyable lifestyle.

Key duties include meals, hygiene support, and assisting with individual care plans. Weekend availability, empathy, and strong communication are essential for building lasting resident relationships.

Formación

• Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4 is required.
• 4+ years' experience in aged care.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to working Saturdays and Sundays 7am–3pm.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering meals and assisting with mealtimes.
• Aiding with hygiene and daily personal care.
• Supporting residents with care plan activities, walks and exercises.
• Engaging residents in activities and social interactions.

Job Description

As a Part Time Weekend Caregiver in our Memory Care Centre forPrebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• A Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4
• 4+ years' experiencein aged care
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto working both Saturday and Sunday 7am -3pm
