Summerset Holdings is hiring a Caregiver for the Casebrook village in Christchurch. The role provides personal care to residents, with duties including meals, hygiene, and activities to enhance quality of life. Job Description:

As a Caregiver at ourCasebrook village,you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, 4pm to 8pm.

Qualifications:

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Caregiver in an aged care facility
• Dementia care qualifications; Health and Wellbeing Level 3 is required
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
