Job summary

Summerset Prebbleton is opening a premium Memory Care Centre. We are seeking a Part Time Weekend Caregiver to support residents with personal care and daily activities at Prebbleton Village.

Role requires a Health & Wellbeing Certificate (level 3 or 4) and 4+ years in aged care. Availability for Saturdays and Sundays 7am–3pm is essential; you will join a compassionate team delivering quality care in a state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patience when supporting residents.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.
• Aid with hygiene and daily living tasks.

Job Description

As a Part Time Weekend Caregiver in our Memory Care Centre forPrebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• A Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4
• 4+ years' experiencein aged care
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto working both Saturday and Sunday 7am -3pm
