Job summary

Summerset Holdings is opening a brand-new Memory Care Centre at Prebbleton Village and seeks a Part Time Weekend Caregiver to help residents live well. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with meals, hygiene, and daily activities in a supportive environment.

The role requires a Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4 and 4+ years’ aged care experience, with strong communication and weekend reliability. Weekend rates apply and insurance savings are offered.

Qualifications

• Empathy, kindness and patience in daily resident care.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am–3pm).

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and assist with mealtimes.

Job Description:

As a Part Time Weekend Caregiver in our Memory Care Centre forPrebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

Shifts Available:

Saturday & Sunday 7am -3pm

Friday 7am -3pm (optional)

Qualifications:

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• A Health & Wellbeing Certificate level 3 or 4
• 4+ years' experiencein aged care
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitmentto working both Saturday and Sunday 7am -3pm
