Job summary

We are seeking two experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team in Wellington, NZ. The roles are full-time and permanent, with a rostered schedule of five to six days per week and a guaranteed minimum of 30 to 48 hours weekly.

Salary is hourly, ranging from 25 to 40 NZD, with weekly pay. Applicants should have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa and meet the education/experience requirements listed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an authentic Thai Massage business.
• NZ Register Diploma level or higher or overseas qualification comparable to NZ standard.
• National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare clients prior to treatments, including assessing client physical condition and case history
• Perform a range of therapeutic massage modalities including Traditional Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Foot Reflexology, Thai Herbal Compress, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, and Facial Massage
• Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension
• Provide ongoing treatment recommendations and advise clients on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques to improve overall well-being
• Maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and products in accordance with health and safety standards
• Perform reception duties including managing client bookings and scheduling appointments
• Perform other related tasks as required

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid in accordance with the law.
