Job summary

Interim Healthcare Inc. in Lower Hutt is seeking two experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team at 519A High Street. You will greet clients, assess their condition, and perform Traditional Thai Massage along with related modalities.

This full-time role includes a rostered schedule of five to six days per week, guaranteed 30 hours rising to 48, with weekly pay and holiday/sick leave as per NZ law. Applicants must have NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR a related NZ-qualifying credential, OR NSTM Level 1 from Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare clients before treatments and assess history and condition.
• Perform Traditional Thai Massage and related modalities (Aromatherapy, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Foot Reflexology, Thai Herbal Compress, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, Facial Massage).
• Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.
• Provide treatment recommendations and advise on stretches and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Handle reception duties including bookings and scheduling.
• Work five to six days per week with a roster and 30–48 hour week.
• This is a full-time, permanent position; weekly pay and statutory holiday leave.
• NZ citizenship/residency or valid NZ work visa required.

• Greet and prepare clients prior to treatments, including assessing client physical condition and case history
• Perform a range of therapeutic massage modalities including Traditional Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Foot Reflexology, Thai Herbal Compress, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, and Facial Massage
• Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension
• Provide ongoing treatment recommendations and advise clients on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques to improve overall well-being
• Maintain responsibility for the cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and products in accordance with health and safety standards
• Perform reception duties including managing client bookings and scheduling appointments
• Perform other related tasks as required
• This is a full-time, permanent position.
• Your hourly wage will be $25–$40, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly.
• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid in accordance with the law.
• Your place of work will be 519A High Street, Lower Hutt.
• You will work according to a roster, five to six days per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 48 hours per week.
