Job summary

Summerset - Care is seeking a Caregiver for our Cambridge village to join a dedicated team delivering compassionate personal care and daily living support. You’ll help residents with meals, hygiene, mobility and engaging activities, contributing to a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment.

The role follows a four-days-on, two-days-off roster with shifts rotating across mornings and evenings, and includes weekend and overtime incentives as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Caregiver at our Cambridge village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

This is a fixed term role till May 2027, and working a roster of four days on, two days off (Shifts will rotate through AM and PM's - minimum 60 and maximum 80 hours per fortnight).

Qualifications

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Experience working within dementia care, supported by a Level 4 dementia care qualification
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
