Bupa Merrivale Care Home in Whangarei is seeking a Caregiver for a fixed term contract until 17 May 2027, averaging 31 hours per week. You will work under qualified nursing staff to deliver patient-first, compassionate care.

Provide personal care, mobility support, and help residents stay active in a 66-bed rest home with hospital-level care. NZQA Health & Wellbeing cert preferred, with 1+ year aged care experience.

Qualifikationen

• NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in aged care.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the elderly.
• Confident communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.

We have onefixed term Caregiver positions available working a roster pattern:

1) Fixed Term Contract until 17 May 2027: average 31 hours per week

• Level 4 Caregiver + medication competency required
• AM shifts only
• Days of work: Mondays and Thursdays – Sundays
• Off Days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
• Please note this role requires working every weekend

As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.

What About You

• An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
