Job summary

Bupa Hugh Green on Auckland’s North Shore is seeking a Caregiver to support residents across rest home, hospital, dementia and care suites. You’ll work with a supportive team to deliver person-centred care and maintain documentation, while fostering a welcoming environment for residents and families.

Ideal candidates hold Level 0-4 Caregiving qualifications, have aged care experience, and demonstrate strong communication within a multidisciplinary team. NZ work entitlement required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification.
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment.
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Hours & Roster Details

• Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
• Hours: Average 154 hours/6 weeks roster period
• Shift Time: 7am – 1pm
• Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6-weekly rotating roster across Monday - Sunday)

Bupa Hugh Green located in Albany, on Auckland’s North Shore is a purpose-built facility and offers rest home, hospital, dementia, and care suites. It is known for its modern design and proximity to nature.

As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates
