Job summary

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Civil Construction Operator to deliver capital works across three waters infrastructure on-site. Focus will be on capital works, with duties varying by contractual needs.

The role offers competitive remuneration in NZD per hour, with overtime after 8 hours daily and after 40 hours weekly, plus allowances where applicable and opportunities for growth within a world-leading 3 waters network.

Qualifications

• Relevant hands-on trade experience.
• Exposure to water and/or wastewater industry is preferable.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues and contractors.
• Motivation for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the capital works team on site to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of all project deliverables.
• Execute all aspects of capital works projects from establishment through to completion.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement safety measures to maintain a zero-harm environment.
• Coordinate with Team Lead, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate seamless project execution and maintain clear communication throughout all phases.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain accurate on-site project documentation.
