Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking a full-time Sports Coordinator to support the wellbeing of students. Reporting to the Sports Team Leader, you will oversee delivery of university tournaments, leagues, programmes and events, including major championships and sailing/marine sports, and assist with travel for representative teams.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours pw), fixed-term position for 8 months, with remuneration of $63,600 - $79,300 per annum depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Experience in sport programming and event management.
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of sport tournaments, leagues, programmes and events.
• Manage budgets, travel arrangements, staffing and logistics for national events.
• Advise on opportunities to develop and plan sport delivery; project manage events.
