Job summary

Summerset is seeking a Café Supervisor for the Rototuna village to lead daily café operations and deliver exceptional service to residents, families, and visitors. The role covers coffee, cabinet foods, and light meals, with a focus on a welcoming, consistent café experience.

You will work closely with the Chef Manager and village team, training staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on a Sunday to Thursday roster, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience running daily operations in a café or hospitality business.
• Experience leading a team is ideal.
• Warm, friendly personality with great customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the café and reconcile daily takings.
• Train and mentor a small team.
• Prepare, present, and serve food and drinks to a high standard.
• Assist with catering for village events and resident functions.
