Job summary

Trade Assist in Canterbury, New Zealand is seeking an experienced joiner for permanent or temp-to-perm positions. The role focuses on following plans to produce components and finished products, joining and assembling furniture, and operating woodworking machinery safely.

You will work Monday to Friday, in a friendly team with full PPE provided, training available, and entitlements after probation. The position offers an hourly rate of NZD 25–28, with overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced with modern and traditional joinery practices.
• Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Accurate workmanship with high attention to detail.
• Able to follow plans and work within timeframes.

• Be prepared to work overtime when necessary
• Physically fit
