Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking a .NET Developer / C# Applications Developer for clients in New Zealand's Canterbury region. The role focuses on building ASP.NET web applications with C# backed by SQL Server, delivering high-availability enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET 3.5/4.0, MVC, AJAX and jQuery, plus WCF/SOAP services and stored procedures. Strong database design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing ASP.NET web applications with C# and SQL Server.
• Experience designing systems with high availability.
• Experience developing enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, MVC, AJAX, jQuery, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, WCF & SOAP web services.
• Creating, tuning and maintaining SQL Stored Procedures.
• Knowledge of relational database design concepts.

As a result of strategic growth a number of our clients are looking for .NET Developers keen on a new challenge.

Minimum Requirements include:

• 3+ years of experience developing ASP.NET web applications, using ASP.NET and C#, with a Microsoft SQL Server back-end.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing enterprise applications with SQL Server.
• Experience designing/developing systems requiring high availability.
  Experience designing /developing/implementing high performance Web and Windows Services.
• Strong background in .Net (3.5 and 4.0), MVC, C#, AJAX, JQuery, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, WCF & SOAP web services.
• Creating, tuning and maintaining SQL Stored Procedures
