Rosewood Kauri Cliffs in Northland invites a dedicated Butler to deliver highly personalized, world-class service at a premier luxury lodge perched along the coast.

This full-time permanent role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 55 hours during peak periods, and supports guests with seamless, thoughtful experiences.

Wages range NZD 27.50–32.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus meals and access to our Associate Perks Programme; NZ working rights are required to apply.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and service-driven Butler to join our team and deliver highly personalized, world-class service. This is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours available during peak operating periods. As a Butler at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, you will act as the key point of contact for our guests, ensuring every aspect of their stay is seamless, thoughtful, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a personalized welcome and orientation, ensuring guests feel immediately at home
• Build meaningful connections by anticipating needs and arranging special requests with care and efficiency
• Deliver all in-suite Food & Beverage services with professionalism and attention to detail
• Manage guest requests and itineraries, ensuring accurate, timely follow-up
• Collaborate across departments to create seamless and unified guest experiences

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, ideally within hotels, resorts, or lodges
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with immaculate personal presentation
• Working knowledge of property management systems (an advantage)
• Ability to manage guest itineraries and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion
• A genuine passion for creating personalized, memorable guest experiences
• Adaptability, resourcefulness, and an intuitive approach to anticipating guest needs

What we offer

This is a full-time position, offering a minimum of 30 hours per week and up to 55 hours per week in our peak periods. We offer competitive wages of between $27.50 and $32.00 (depending on relevant experience), delicious associate lunches and access to our Associate Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our suppliers and partners. In addition, we endeavor whenever possible to provide you with 2 days in a row off each week.
