Job summary

  • Partner with business units, Digital Connect teams, vendors, and support partners to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Support governance forums by providing analysis, recommendations, impact assessments, and enhancement planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, improve system utilisation, strengthen data quality, and enhance reporting confidence.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to ensure enterprise system initiatives are effectively coordinated and delivered

About the Business:

The Data Connect team is a sub-team of Digital Connect responsible for enabling the strategic use of data and enterprise systems across The Salvation Army. Working alongside teams across New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, we support enterprise platforms, governance, integration, and information management to maximise the value of systems such as Salesforce and TechnologyOne. Through trusted data, reliable platforms, and meaningful insights, we help drive informed decision‑making, operational excellence, and effective mission delivery.

About the Role:

The Business Systems Lead - Enterprise Platforms provides coordination, analysis, and stewardship of key enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and TechnologyOne. Acting as a bridge between business teams, technical teams, vendors, and support partners, this role helps ensure systems are aligned with organisational priorities, deliver practical solutions, and support effective decision‑making across The Salvation Army.

What will your responsibilities be:
  • Lead the coordination and optimisation of enterprise platforms in line with organisational priorities and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with business units, Digital Connect teams, vendors, and support partners to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.

Our ideal candidate will:

Have experience in business systems analysis, enterprise platforms, systems integration, or process improvement.

Have a strong understanding of business processes, data flows, system integrations, and enterprise applications.

Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

Possess a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Be confident supporting change adoption through communication, documentation, training, and knowledge sharing.

This role is permanent full timeandhours worked will be 37.5 per week.

The starting salary for this role will fall between $120,000.00 and $130,000.00

The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between $61.54 to $66.67.
