Job summary

Suncorp New Zealand is seeking a Business System Analyst to support and evolve our consumer platforms. You will work with brokers, advisers and internal teams to enhance performance, user experience and operational efficiency across the business.

You will contribute to digitisation initiatives, deliver training, manage access, and help drive transformation while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience within insurance, financial services or a customer-focused corporate environment.
• Knowledge of insurance products, systems and terminology, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across a wide range of audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience investigating issues, supporting system testing or working with business platforms.
• The ability to balance technical conversations with a customer-focused approach.
• A proactive mindset and a passion for improving processes and user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for business platform queries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Investigate system issues, coordinate testing activities and work alongside technology teams to identify root causes and solutions.
• Manage user access and onboarding for brokers, advisers and internal stakeholders.
• Support system deployments, user acceptance testing and business readiness activities.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, advisers and internal teams, acting as a trusted point of contact for system support and guidance.
• Deliver training and onboarding support to help users get the most from our platforms.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve system functionality, processes and user experiences.
• Contribute to the ongoing digitisation and transformation of Suncorp New Zealand’s Consumer business.
