Job summary

NHP Electrical Engineering Products in Auckland seeks a commercially driven Automation professional to take sales ownership and contribute to NZ growth. You will engage with OEMs, System Integrators and End Users to identify opportunities and deliver practical Automation solutions.

Overnight travel will be required. You will collaborate with internal teams and key partners to ensure products are represented effectively and commercial outcomes are achieved across the region.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant industry experience.
• Experience with OT security and integrated industrial software.
• Outcome-based selling experience.
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the New Zealand local market.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially driven Automation professional to take sales ownership and contribute to NHP's continued growth. For the right person, this role also offers the potential to build towards future opportunities.

Working with trusted global brands including Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley, you will engage with OEMs, System Integrators and End Users to identify opportunities, understand requirements and deliver practical Automation solutions.

Overnight travel will be required as part of this role.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and key partners to ensure products are represented effectively and commercial outcomes are achieved across the region.

Ideally You Will Bring

• Electrical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant industry experience, highly regarded
• Experience in today’s industry requirements from OT secure control systems to integrated industrial software solutions.
• Outcome-based selling experience and an understanding of industrial business drivers
• Strong communication, technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information
• Knowledge of the local market and competitive environment
• A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes
• The confidence and technical credibility to build strong relationships with customers
