Job summary

Briscoes Homeware in Auckland is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Data team, reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics. This role focuses on improving how systems, processes and workflows support the business, delivering practical, measurable outcomes.

You will work across the business to analyse current ways of working, challenge the status quo, and help design smarter solutions. Strong documentation, data-driven insight and clear communication with stakeholders are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience documenting processes and developing SOPs with Visio, Lucidchart and Confluence.
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of projects with clear process flow.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to translate complex ideas for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analysing business processes, systems and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, simplification and automation.
• Partnering with stakeholders to assess ideas and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
• Creating and maintaining process documentation, workflows and SOPs.
• Supporting project initiation through business case development, impact analysis, cost estimates and ROI.
• Translating business requirements into clear specifications for technical delivery.
• Using data and reporting to identify trends and measure outcomes.
• Supporting change management with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
