Job summary

Genesis Energy NZ is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear digital changes across customer-facing platforms and integrations.

You will facilitate workshops, work with developers and stakeholders to define outcomes, and support Energy IQ integrations across billing and CRM. An undergraduate business degree with BA or Agile credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to senior BA experience in a sizeable commercial environment.
• Experience delivering digital or technology change with Agile methods.
• Strong facilitation, process analysis, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Practical understanding of APIs and data movement between platforms.
• Undergraduate business qualification; BA or Agile certification would be beneficial.

What you’ll do:

Join our Technology and Digital team and help turn business needs into clear, deliverable digital change. Working across customer-facing platforms and integrations, you’ll connect business and technical perspectives so delivery teams can make informed decisions and create better customer outcomes.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and delivery-ready work.
• Facilitate workshops and conversations that build shared understanding of needs, value, processes and customer impact.
• Work closely with developers, testers and stakeholders to define outcomes, clarify requirements and support delivery.
• Support digital platform and Energy IQ integrations across systems including billing and CRM.
• Identify dependencies, impacts and opportunities to improve both solutions and delivery processes.

What you’ll need:

You’ll be an experienced, collaborative Business Analyst who can move comfortably between business conversations and technical detail. You’ll bring strong analysis and facilitation skills, sound judgement and the confidence to work with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Intermediate to Senior experience Business Analyst experience in a sizeable commercial environment.
• Experience delivering digital or technology change, including Agile ways of working.
• Strong facilitation, process analysis, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A practical understanding of APIs, system integrations and how data moves between connected platforms.
• An undergraduate business or commercial qualification; relevant BA or Agile certification would be beneficial.
